Privacy policy

NameForge is built to know as little about you as possible. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, no cookies set by the site, and no analytics or advertising scripts. This page explains the little that does happen when you use it.

Name generation happens in your browser

Every generator on this site runs entirely on your own device. When you forge a batch of names, nothing is sent to a server: the names are computed in your browser and exist only on your screen. We never see, store, or log what you generate.

Favourites live in local storage

When you star a name, it is saved to your browser's local storage on your own device so it is still there next time you visit. That data never leaves your machine. Clearing your browser data for this site removes it permanently.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's infrastructure may process standard technical request data (such as IP addresses) to serve pages and protect against abuse. See the Vercel privacy policy for details. NameForge itself adds no tracking on top.
