Embed a generator

Every one of the 48 generators here can sit inside a page on your own site. Pick one below, pick a theme, copy the snippet and paste it where you want the names to appear. It is two lines of ordinary HTML. Nothing to install, no key, no account, and nothing that phones home.

What the snippet does

The first line is an iframe pointing at a stripped-down page on this site: the generator’s heading, a dozen names and a link back. No header, no footer, no cookie banner, nothing that fights with your own layout. It loads lazily, so it costs a visitor nothing until they scroll to it. The inline border and radius are there so the frame looks deliberate on a page whose stylesheet knows nothing about it; delete them if your own styling is better.

The theme value picks between the parchment look this site uses and a dark variant for dark-background pages. It is the only option the frame takes.

Why the credit link is a plain anchor

The second line is a bare <a href>, sitting outside the iframe in your own HTML. That is deliberate and it is the whole price of the embed. A link inside an iframe is a link on a NameForge page, which does nothing for anybody. A link in your markup is a real, crawlable citation of the source, and that is what pays for the widget being free.

So there is no script that injects it, no rel attribute smuggled in and no hidden styling to make it disappear. It is plain HTML you can see, restyle, move or reword. Keeping it is what the licence asks; how it looks on your page is up to you.

Fair use of the frame

The embed is served from the same static build as the rest of the site, so there is no request budget to blow through and nothing to throttle. Two things worth knowing anyway. The names inside the frame are generated at build time, which means a visitor sees a fixed set rather than a fresh batch on every load; if you want reroll-on-click, link through to the full generator pages instead. And names can coincide with real names, businesses and trademarks, because nothing here is checked against any register.
